John Paul Mollica, CPFA

John Paul Mollica, who is the founding member of the Mollica Financial Group, has been working in the financial industry since 2002 where he started out as an intern with Smith Barney on Wall Street/Water Street.  After 17 years in the business(15+ years licensed), Mollica Financial Group has been born.  Prior to John Paul Mollica opening the doors of the Mollica Financial Group, he successfully transitioned to Merrill Lynch Wealth Management from LPL Financial in 2012 where he spent 7 years working with clients. Prior to engrossing himself in the Financial Industry, John Paul has studied Political Science, History and Criminal Justice at The College of Staten Island and Dutchess Community College. John Paul holds the professional designation of CPFA(Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor).  John Paul has focused on tailoring individual wealth management plans for his clients for over 13 years. 

While John Paul grew up in upstate New York, his family roots are in Dyker Heights/Bay Ridge Brooklyn where the majority of his family had settled in over 90 Years ago. 

John Paul and his wife Gina lived in Staten Island, NY, where they had two beautiful little girls(Jessie Lynn and Juliet Skye).  John and Gina decided to relocate their family from Staten Island to Dutchess County, NY. Since the move John has established his office to Poughkeepsie, NY(originally in 225 Liberty Street NY, NY), continuing to help his client throughout the country.

John Paul continues to follow the deep-seated tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives his interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.

Josh Stratton began his career as a financial advisor in 2007 at Edward Jones Investments. where he helped people protect and build their net worth. Advising individuals and businesses throughout the Great Recession was a very formative experience and taught Josh the impact that sound financial advice can have on people's lives. Josh honed his process of helping clients stick with their financial plans along with the prudent investment process which he still utilizes today.

 

In 2011, Josh transitioned his financial planning practice to LPL Financial where his independence could be expanded upon to include retirement plans such as 401(k) and 403(b) plans for local businesses. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF® and Accredited Asset Management Specialist, AAMS® Josh serves these plans as a Fiduciary, always placing plan participant interests above all. Educating and guiding employees with company retirement plans is still one of Josh's favorite services he provides.

 

For 14 years, Josh has enjoyed assisting clients to identify their most important financial goals and build financial plans to seek the achievement of those goals. He looks forward to continuing in this role with Mollica Financial Group. Josh was raised in Hyde Park where he attended Roosevelt High and has two children. Rowing is a passion of his and he enjoys teaching people the sport in the early mornings on the Hudson River. 

 

 

 

Jessica Anne Reale is a new Client Associate at the Mollica Financial Group. She is a recent college graduate who just moved back to New York from Florida. Jessica studied International Business and Finance at Stetson University. She also spent six months studying finance in Madrid, Spain, at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

 

Jessica is a Certified Global Business Professional where she proved to have significant knowledge in multiple international trade domains. Jessica is currently studying to receive her Life, Accident and Health license through New York State. She plans to continue her growth in the financial industry and obtain other required licenses over time. Jessica received her Life, Accident and Health license in January 2021. 

 

Jessica still lives in her hometown in Putnam County where her parents raised her along with her two older brothers.

Jessica chose the financial services industry because she has a love for finance, and she enjoys giving back to the community. She is excited to share her passion of finance and have an impact on others.
